October is a tricky month for weddings in the Nordic countries. You never know whether it’ll be warm or cold, sunny or rainy, snow or no snow. Or whether the trees will be incredibly beautiful with red and yellow leafs, or just plain boring without any colours whatsoever.
On Sanna and Jan’s wedding day – the third of October – I think someone up there was helping out, because we had almost all of the good things from above. No snow, beautiful trees and sunshine all day long. It was a little chilly, but the bride and groom (especially the Sanna with her sleeveless dress) did a great job, patiently posing in the cold weather.
All in all their big day was a great success. Everything from early morning at the hairdresser ’til late evening at the reception went smoothly. Here is the first part (of two – be sure to stop by for the second as well) of the pictures from their wedding day:

We spent quite a lot of time by this tree. I guess you can figure out why.

Jan’s best man was helping out during the shoot. Thanks Tom!
