There was a blanket of fog over Stockholm as I got ready for Jessica and Karl’s wedding this Saturday morning. But as we – a couple of hours later – got out of beauty salon Puder in Vasastan, the grey fog had transformed into beautiful warm sunshine. We took a walk to Observatorielunden and Gamla Stan for some portrait shots, before heading over to the wedding ceremony in Björkhagen.
The church – Markuskyrkan, where the ceremony was held – is like no other church I’ve ever seen before. It’s got a very special character; looks like a fort on the outside, and is quite spacious and dim with a lot of candles on the inside, making it very cozy.
After lots of smiles and quite a few tears during and after the ceremony, we took the stylish French 1950′s car to the final destination of the day, the reception at Mäster Mikaels festvåning in Cornelisparken on Södermalm where the party went on all night.
Jessica and Karl were constantly shining throughout the day and gladly posed in every way I asked them to. You guys are great people, the best of luck to you both!
Here’s part one of their wedding day. Part two coming up soon.

More to come soon…
