Pre-wedding | Jessica & Karl

A couple of days ago I met up with next weekend’s wedding couple, Jessica and Karl. It was the first time we met, and they were just as nice people as I expected them to be based on our e-mail conversations.

They’re getting married in Björkhagen, just south of Södermalm in Stockholm. We’re meeting up in town for preparation pictures and portraits before heading back to Björkhagen and Markuskyrkan for their ceremony, followed by the reception on Södermalm. I can barely wait, it’s going to be so much fun!

I was planning on doing a preparation shoot with them, but decided not to since it didn’t feel necessary. That’s why these picture will have to do for now – in a couple of weeks I’ll show you what a great couple they are.

This Saturday I’m shooting Kajsa and Martin’s wedding. They are having a garden wedding and the ceremony will be held at Martin’s parents’ house in wonderful Djursholm. It’s a beautiful garden and I have a feeling it’s going to be a swell wedding.

It’s my first garden wedding, so I’m really looking forward to it. Hopefully the weather will be with us.

Another friends-of-mine-wedding is coming up early october, and I have the great honour of being Sanna and Jan’s photographer.

They are awesome people and make a great couple. Just look at these pictures we took wandering around looking for photo spots for their big day. October third will be super.

Next Saturday is going to be great. Two friends of mine are getting married and I’m shooting the whole thing. Weddings are always great, but one between old friends is of course special. The bridegroom is a childhood friend whom I’ve known forever. The bride and I studied at the university in Umeå together, and became great friends. So I’m really looking forward to their wedding.

A couple of days ago we went out looking for places to shoot their photos before the ceremony. It didn’t take us long. At all. They’re getting married close to Mikaela’s parents’ house and it’s beautiful everywhere. If the weather remains as nice as it’s been lately we’ll get some great shots on their big day.

This little fella is their dog Naala. Not sure if she’ll be watching them get married though, she can be sorta loud. And she has a bad habit of eating shoes. Luckily I didn’t wear my best ones this afternoon.
