A couple of days ago I got to see Vancouver from an angle I hadn’t before. Cole and I shot Andrew & Karran’s wedding on the top of Grouse Mountain, a big-ass mountain just a short car ride from downtown Vancouver.

It was pretty awesome actually. Especially since we got there sort of early and got to see Vancouver in both day and night time from up there. We’ll fire up some pictures from the wedding soon on the Nordica site. But here’s one from the getting-ready part of the day:

Chinese Garden | Vancouver Photographer

One of the reasons Vancouver is so awesome is the city’s cultural mix. And as in many other cities, the Chinese have their own little town. Chinatown in Vancouver is Canada’s biggest and a very cool place for photos. Which is why Cole and I go there with clients every once in a while.

Today we had a shoot in the Chinese Garden, a rad little garden with birds on the roof. Angry birds too.

And tomorrow we’ll be taking photos at a wedding on Grouse Mountain. Have I mentioned this job is awesome?
