Sorry for bringing that up, but I just want to stress the fact that Nordica Photography will be spending December and January in Sweden/Finland celebrating the holidays with family and friends. And while relaxing is the main reason we’re going “home”, we would love (love!) to do some winter weddings in the region (region = Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Iceland or any other place “close”).

So if you know anyone getting married around that time, please let them know that we are available and would love to discuss their wedding photography.

This is about as bright as it gets here these days. It’s nice, but I wouldn’t mind a bit more light daytime.

We have flying cats here. My brother tried to catch this one, but failed. (I think that’s how it was.)

And finally a totem-pole. Vancouver is full of them, but I didn’t expect to find one at home…

By the way, this blog will be a bit ‘slower’ during the holidays than usual. It’s because…well, I’m not doing much. Just relaxing, and pictures of me relaxing isn’t really interesting for anyone. I will have some posts up though, but it won’t be until the new year that the pace gets back to normal. I think you’ll survive the holidays anyway… :-)

Me and my niece Judith (with a little assistance from her grandmother) made this fabulous Gingerbread Castle yesterday. It took us a few hours, but I must say I’m quite proud of it :)

This far it’s been cooooold. Which I’m not too big of a fan of, but at least we’ll get a white Christmas. Here are a couple of wintery pics from outside the door of my childhood home.
