Trains aren’t the most exciting places to be on. But it’s a good place to catch up on stuff you haven’t had time to do. Like reading.
I’m writing this post on a train from Stockholm to Gothenburg, where I’ll be working at the Göteborg book fair for about a week. I’m looking forward to attending some fun seminars – there are quite a few design and photography related ones that look really interesting. As well as a lot of other stuff. Hopefully there’ll be enough spare time for me to at least see and listen to some of the speakers. I’ll try to get some pictures up on the blog too.
Anyway, I’m on the train right now, reading articles and blogs. And I thought I’d share some of them with you. So here are a few of the sites I’m visiting on today’s journey (after finishing the free newspapers):
Some blog/web articles:
41 image and icon search engines designers should know – Hongkiat.com
How to promote a blog – ProBlogger.com
The next serif trend – Webdesignerwall.com
Refresh your blogging process in 4 steps – Blogussion.com
Effective twitter backgrounds: Examples and current practices – Smashingmagazine.com
A couple of weddings:
Aruba: Destination wedding photography – MNPblog.com (I so want to do one of these – anyone doing a destination wedding – I’d love to be your photographer.)
Wedding – Sergiomottola.com
Wedding – Jamiedelaine.com
And some other stuff:
Greetings - A useful article (common sence, but still) about greetings. – TechCrunch.com
Only 5 % of web users would pay for online news, reports survey – Guardian.co.uk
I have a lot more, but the Internet on this train is killing me so I have to stop now (before I do something bad to my computer).
