This year’s summer vacation felt long. For four weeks I’ve been staying at my parents’ house in Finland and it’s been very relaxing. Sleeping late in the mornings, sunbathing all day long, chilling at our summerhouse with whodunit books, spending time with family and friends. Etcetera.
But (yeah, there’s always a but), I missed my apartment, and I missed Stockholm. Big time. So being back now actually feels great. I’ve got a lot of work to do, a few weddings coming up and some great parties waiting. So life is still good, even though the vacation is over.
