It’s getting close now. A few more days ’til the opening ceremony in BC Place Stadium. Everyone (well, not everyone, but most people) has been waiting for this a long time, and you can feel the excitement downtown. And there are lots and lots of tourists in the city already. I can only imagine how it will be as the games actually begin.
The Olympics will be awesome though. I’m really looking forward to all happenings in the city, as well as to the hockey game we’re attending.
Here are a couple of pics from the city. It doesn’t really feel like the winter olympics, with sunshine and 15 degrees. But I’m not complaining, just hope they have enough snow in Whistler.
